It’s been a whirlwind few weeks! My interior design business, Genny Rose Designs, is in full swing and I have so much to share with you all. I’m in the midst of 6 projects ranging in sizes from styling artwork in a new home to working on a verrrry exciting full-home project with a client I’ll be announcing in the next few weeks (maybe even days!). On top of that, I’m hosting my very first pop-up this Thursday evening at b.inspired home, and I would LOVE to see you all there—details here!
I’m SO GRATEFUL for your support, and it’s true what they say: when you start your own business, you leave your 9-5 to work 24/7. And while I definitely feel this in my soul (and I mean deeply), it also doesn’t feel like work at all because I truly love every single thing I’m doing.
With so many exciting design projects in the works, I’ve been running around town making new connections, exploring showrooms, and meeting so many wonderful small business owners. Today, I’m giving you a peek behind the design curtains at some of my favorite spots.
Marble & Granite - a stone slab heaven
Huck Finn - a revamped and impressive new showroom
Urban Industrial Design - a custom woodwork wonderland
WorkSmart Coworking & Meeting Space - a collaborative & friendly coworking space
Honorable (non-showroom) Mentions - because how could I possibly not mention these gems?
b.inspired home - a french-inspired home decor heaven
Sugarbush Lane Mercantile - a historic home goods dream
Vischer Ferry General Store - a cozy, happy, hallmark-movie in real life
Antique store & thrifting favorites definitely deserve their own dedicated post… so stay tuned! Leave a comment and let me know what you want to hear about in my next newsletter!
Make sure you're following me on Instagram to keep up with all my design projects, tips, and more! And I can’t wait to see all of you local Upstate NY-ers at my pop-up next Thursday!
Xx,
Genny
